I finally received my images from the March 22, 2009 shoot. There were several really good images that were captured.

The photographer sent me the link to the images along with a note stating that if I want any retouched, to let him know. The images I could download did not have his stamp on them. I did send a return email asking how to alert him of the ones that I would like retouched and asking if he prefer I post our photos after he retouches and adds his stamp/copyright, etc. I sent this email on May 27th and have not yet received a reply.

I blogged about not receiving prints or a CD containing images shot during a TFP/TFCD shoot on March 22, 2009. I have yet to receive prints, CD, or even correspondence from this photographer.

Below is are copies of emails that I have sent to him on April 18th and May 12th:

April 18, 2009

Hi Paul,

I wanted to touch base with you again concerning the images for our shoot on March 22nd. It was stated on the day of the shoot that the images would be available to me in one or two days. We are now going on a month and I haven't heard any information about how or when I will be receiving my images from the TFP images. I do understand that life is hectic and gets busy at times; however, I look forward to viewing the images and using them in my portfolio. I have also already signed the photo release.

Hi Paul Richard,

I have emailed you on a couple occaisions pertaining to the images that I am owed from out TFP/TFCD photo shoot on March 22, 2009. You stated at the shoot that the images from the shoot would be available to me the next day or two. I have only seen one photograph from that shoot. I have emailed you and have not received a reply at either time. It has been two months, which I feel is adequate time to receive my prints, especially since you stated photography is your living. I had a shoot with another photographer on May 26th and have already received my images/cd and he has another "full-time" job.

I feel that this is very unprofessional on your part, especially since you have not returned correspondence. You have my name as someone that you have worked with and use me as a reference, yet I cannot, in good conscience, give you a good word.

I request that you burn the images of me onto a CD (NOT DVD) and send them via US MAIL as soon as possible. I signed your release and believe my address is on that form. Now, fulfill your part of the deal.

Subject: How long should it take for a model to receive images from a TFP shoot? - » Comment/Reply (click here to upgrade)

I had a shoot on March 22, 2009. The photographer stated at the shoot that he would post the images in a password protected account. He would e-mail me the directions and password to access the images. He said the images would be posted in a day or two after the shoot. I received one picture a few days later. The photographer stated that he was still working on getting the other images uploaded. I heard nothing from him, so a week or two later, I sent the photographer an e-mail asking when the images might be posted. I stated that I was looking forward to seeing them. I received no correspondence back from that e-mail. On April 18, 2009, I sent another message to this photographer. This message I sent through a model/photographer networking site. I, again, inquired about the images from the shoot on March 22, 2009. I have yet to receive an answer from that photographer. He has logged into his account since then, but has not bothered to contact me.

Has enough time passed that I should have received my images (approximately 1 month)? I did sign the model release at the end of the shoot. The shoot went well. The photographer even sent me an email after the shoot saying that he felt it went well and enjoyed working with me. What is a good way to attempt to get those images? What is a way to prevent this from happening in the future?

Subject: Secluded Outdoor Location and Another Female Model - » Comment/Reply (click here to upgrade)

I have been communicating with John Ferlito of Lake Effect Photography out of Oswego, NY (OMP# 163961). He is willing to come to the Pittsburgh area and do a shoot TFP. I am looking for another female model to participate in this shoot with me. We are looking toward late May or early June for the shoot. If you are a female model interested in participating in the shoot with me, let me know.

I am also looking for a secluded area in or around the Pittsburgh/southwestern PA area that would be a great location for the above mentioned shoot or any photo shoot. I am not originally from the area and have no idea where good places to shoot are.
